“Why Birds Stay”

They say the sky’s a boundless sea,

And birds hold keys to wander free.

With wings to chase the farthest light,

Why rest beneath the moon each night?

They do not seek the world so wide,

But branches where their hearts abide.

A place of stillness, known and true,

Where morning breaks with sky-brushed blue.

They've tasted clouds, they've flown through storms,

Yet love the hush where daylight warms.

For freedom isn't flight alone —

It's knowing when you've found your home.

So ask not why they do not flee

To chase the edge of land or sea.

The bird, though born to roam the air,

Knows peace is sometimes staying there.

Just because you can go anywhere, doesn’t mean you should.

Sometimes, where you are is

exactly where you need to be.
